Antonio's Civic Hatch

Antonio Maldonado contacted me to do a car shoot for his car before he does a transformation for Offset Kings Guam. I didn't hesitate to say yes! You may recognized him on his built Hafadaze.com/Real SI. When I first read up on his first built on island, I "admyer" his clean set up since then. He was no stranger when he contacted me, I met him at a friend's house for a barbecue party. His car was no stranger as well when I did a car shoot for the previous owner. This car changed a lot since Antonio got his hand on this beauty.

Before I started the photo session, I look around the car and inside as well and all I said "Hella clean!" Obviously before a car shoot the car has to be really clean. But Antonio took care of this car with love. I was really amazed how clean the interior & exterior were!

Added with the Air Walker front bumper just gave an aggressive look.
When I got to the engine bay, the first thing that caught my eyes was New York's skyline with the Twin Towers. Made sense when I asked Antonio where was he from he replied "New York" Digging how he put his stateside taste to this island.
I remembered this car had an ITR B18C motor when I first laid my eyes on this car with the previous owner. But Antonio swapped out that motor and put in a CTR B16B motor. Before he put in the motor in his ride he made the Opake team put some art in the engine bay which gave an eye catcher to the spectators. A full on wire tuck as well with A/C! (A/C line tuck) His last build from his "Real SI" had no A/C on a full wire tuck as well. He told me this was he second time wiring tucking a car since his "Real SI" Kudos to you sir!
The motor itself is just a stock CTR. I asked any plans what he was going to put in for the motor. He replied "Just headers" To be honest I think he might put in more things for a surprise.
The interior was clean (ignore the papers on the ground) UKDM SiR guage cluster, Momo Monte Carlo 350mm black steering wheel, NRG quick release, NRG short hub, K-tuned shifter, and the rest with CTR interior.
J's Racing exhaust full straight pipe.

Antonio's civic is sitting on 19x7 +45 Spoon SW388 bolted on his CTR 5 lug conversion with some Muteki blue chrome lug nuts. With the suspension on Tien Basic coilovers.

While I was waiting for Antonio to arrive to the car shoot. He happened to bring his wife and daughter along, I didn't mind at all, it was really pleasure meeting them!

Towards the end of the shoot, I got to snap some of photos with my Polaroid. I asked what were his plans for the transformation of his civic. He told me what he was going to do, but in shorter words, The car is being converted from Type R to SiR.
